PA from a 2017 tour

My journey in audio engineering began when I moved to Bali, Indonesia for high school. After a failed attempt at playing music to fit in I discovered a passion for the technical side of things. This curiosity led me to move to Byron Bay, NSW, Australia to go to school at the SAE HQ.

In 2006 I graduated from SAE with a BA in Recording Arts w/honors. Degree in hand I returned to the San Francisco Bay Area to pursue a career in the music industry. My first job was working as an assistant engineer at Studio D Recording in Sausalito, CA.While at Studio D I was fortunate enough to work on albums, masterings, live recordings, jingles and much more with a wide array of talented artists, producers, and engineers.

In 2010 I moved over to Bananas at Large to run the installs division of the company. I designed, sold, installed, commissioned, and serviced projects for small community theatres up to mega churches. Projects included distributed audio, video, lighting and whatever else a client could come up with.

In 2014 I started taking on more and more live sound projects, and in 2015 made the switch to full time live sound engineer. I spent most of that time working for Sound on Stage in Hayward, CA and Erickson Sound Productions in San Francisco, CA.

In late 2015 I filled in as FOH for a Huey Lewis show in Mexico and so began my career as a touring FOH engineer. Touring has taken me to all corners of the earth while I have worked in all roles from FOH to PA tech. I found something that truly makes me happy and I look forward to seeing where touring takes me next.
